Chennai CSR Conclave 2019

Chennai, 9th Aug 2019: Chennai CSR Conclave 2019 facilitates as a forum for all the stakeholders of the CSR Environment to meet and share the requirements and good practices in implementing CSR interventions. The team at CSR SPARK comprises a spectrum of professionals from CSR Consultants, Bureaucrats, Social Workers and Corporate Heads.

Many Corporates and most NGOs that they partner in Tamil Nadu lack a simple, deeper, applied understanding of the CSR legislation, “How to find a good NGO is a perennial query amongst Corporates, while “how to raise CSR funds” is what each NGO has on its lips all the time.

One way to bridge the gap is to get both to engage on a common platform – through interaction, dialogue, sharing and learning, CSR SPARK is striving to be a facilitator for initiating a process to take this up to ensure smoother delivery of CSR interventions in Tamil Nadu. To do this, it is conducting a unique one-day CSR dialogue/event – two Conclaves, one at Chennai and the other at Coimbatore on 9th and 10th August 2019, respectively.

The programme will envisage a formal Inaugural Session, a CSR Masterclass for both Corporates and NGOs, and would conclude with sessions on FAQ and experience & knowledge sharing amongst various stakeholders in the sector, An exhibition to showcase strengths of NGOs will also be held

A Handbook on CSR Act, Rules, Government Circulars, Notifications and Amendments will be released at the events and will be a reference material for the delegates
